Tuning and Running the SH 18 Nitro Motor
If you've spent any period in any way in the RC hobby, you've likely encountered the sh 18 nitro motor within one form or another. It's basically the "old reliable" of the 1/10 size world. Whether it came pre-installed within your favorite Redcat or you picked one up as an affordable replacement for a blown engine, this little block has a status for being a punchy, relatively forgiving piece of machinery. There's just something about the smell of spent nitro energy and the high-pitched scream of a small-block engine that an electric motor can't quite replicate, no matter how fast it goes. ...
